Patrick - Have they announced the roster for the WCA North-South Allstar game, to be played in July in Casper?

HS Sports Fan,
The only WCA roster I have is for the girls basketball game. I have yet to see rosters for boys basketball, volleyball or golf. Sorry.

Looks like the smaller schools have some pretty good representation. Glad to see that. Congrats to Bulldog Emrick!! Can't wait to see these guys work together. Should be a great series of games.

HS Sports Fan, The WY-SD series has been moved up to June 6th and 7th. The reason being, there was a conflict in using the Young Center in Spearfish and the HS gym there as well. This is according to one of the booster club members. The WY-MT series is the same, June 20th and 21st. (As far as we have heard) Only two players are affected by the change in relationship to the Shrine Bowl (June 7th through June 14th) is Rob Johnson and Cody Emerick. It will be a great time though and fun I am sure.

Mick (or anyone in the know) - Have they released the rosters yet for the North-South Allstar game scheduled for July?

i think 3a was poorly represented in this, anderson wasnt even the best player in 3a, how can they leave out raney from pinedale or heatherly and redman from wheatland and lander, did no one see the state tournament? those 3 guys were the ones that stuck out at the highest level.. just disappointed 3a didnt get more guys... best of luck to the players who made it!

HS Sports Fan, I don't know if they have released the names yet but I know they have been chosen. $eth, Whos to say they weren't asked but perhaps they had other obligations. You are right though, the players you mentioned are very good players. It will be a great time.

$eth - I watched the three you mention as being better than Anderson. Not even close. Anderson and Raney matched up early in the year and both played great defensively and did well offensively too. As for Heatherly and Redman. If shooting the 3 makes you great, then they both have to be there. But take the 3 away and you have trouble. Not to mention that little thing called Sportsmanship. Eric's 2 game suspension speaks for itself and Tony's bad attitude (walking off the court and throwing a fit) when the coach coaches is also a statement. Raney and Anderson are both team players with the goods to play at the next level.

Not even sure this thing link is still active, but just stumbled acrossed it and couldn't disagree with $eth more.... Anderson was in the top 10 of 5 of the 8 statistical categories for all of 3A. More than any of the ones you mentioned. Also, Like HMM said and I'm not sure about Raney, but Anderson in my opinion was the class of all that I coached against. He is a fantastic team player who gets his teammates involved and knows when to take a game over and finish off an opponent. Another fun fact is that his team was 7-1 against the three you mention. I believe that you could ask any non-biased coach in 3A(including Mick) and they would tell you that Anderson along with Ferguson from Newcastle were the two most feared players in all of 3A.
