Montana has finalized its rosters for the Montana-Wyoming all-star basketball series in June.

The games will be June 20 at Sheridan College and June 21 at Billings (Mont.) West High School.

Here are Montana's rosters, courtesy of the Associated Press:

BOYS
Brandon Boltz, Butte; Cole Conway, Butte; Grant Fink, Helena; D.J. Fish, Browning; Brian Foran, Winifred; Andy Garland, Missoula Sentinel; Jim Mee, Libby; Daniel Pearson, Billings Central and Casey Rogers, Billings West.
GIRLS
Torrie Cahill, Miles City; Kezia Ford, Great Falls; Jeni Guertin, Bozeman; Ali Hurley, Anaconda; Sage Indendi, Livingston; Brianne McClafferty, Butte; Joey O'Neill, Butte; Laramie Schwenke, Malta; Kalli Stanhope, Glendive and Kirsten Tilleman, Bozeman.

The shortest player on the Montana boys roster is 6-foot-1; the girls team has three Division I recruits in Tilleman, Guertin and Hurley. For more on Montana's chances, click here.

Has wyoming posted their roster yet? Is it the same roster as the WYO-SD games as well?

Sorry, no, Wyoming hasn't released its roster yet. I know the coaches are working on them, though. Usually, the same players play in both series.

Do you know who the coaches are? I know the rosters for the North/South teams have been released, but haven't heard who the coaches are for that either? How are the coaches for each of the allstar teams selected?

Where have you found the rosters for the North/South teams? I have heard a few that are on the teams, but haven't seen the whole roster.

Thanks Patrick, keep up the good work!

Do you know if any of the 1A/2A players get selected to play in the All star games or are they just the bigger schools. I've seen some really good players from smaller schools. Do they play it at the same time as the Shrine bowl? Where can we find the rosters?

OK, it looks like there is some confusion here. The all-star series with Montana and South Dakota is completely different from the North-South all-star games put on by the Wyoming Coaches Association. The only rosters I've seen are the girls basketball rosters for the WCA all-star game; they're here: http://www.trib.com/articles/2008/03/21/sports/high_school/d82cade3327214cf87257413000b6eb6.txt

The rosters for the WCA boys basketball and volleyball games have not been submitted to the Star-Tribune.

As I also pointed out above, the Wyoming rosters for the Montana/South Dakota all-star series have not been released yet.

For the Montana/South Dakota series, the coaches of those teams take nominations (last year the coaches were Joel Davidson and Frank McCarthy of Sheridan College fame). For the WCA games, this is the explanation I got: "Coaches’ nominations were taken and a 16 person committee representing all classes and areas of the state made the final decisions. "

And, yes, OF COURSE small-school players are eligible to compete in all of these contests.

According to what I have read(several different sources), the Shrine Bowl is June 14, The all-star Wyoming/Montana games are June 20,21 and the North/South all-star game is July 26. Haven't heard anything about the Wyoming/SD all-star game.
